| 5.1 | A TOURNAMENT APPLICATION FORM (TAF), must be used when applying for approval to hold a tournament. | |||||
| 5.2 | A Senior Level 1 League, Senior Level 2 League, Senior Level 3 League, Senior Level 4 League, (if governed by the OSA) Senior Level 5 League, Youth Level 1 League, Youth Level 2 League, Youth Level 3 League, Youth Level 4 League, (if governed by the OSA) Youth Level 5 League, and District Association will obtain the TAF from The OSA. | NOTE: In most cases the District Association of the Tournament Host Organization will be the same District Association as the District in which the tournament is being played. Therefore, the second approval will only be required if the Tournament Host Organization is playing all or part of the tournament in a District other than the one with which it is affiliated. | |||||
| 5.3.2 | In the event that a Tournament Host Organization runs a tournament in a District other than the one with which it is affiliated, approval shall be required: | |||||
| | a) | firstly, from the District Association with which it is affiliated; | |||
| and | b) | secondly, from the District Association of the District where the tournament is being played. | |||
| 5.3.3 | Notwithstanding 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 above, a Senior Level 1 League, Senior Level 2 League, Senior Level 3 League, Senior Level 4 League, (if governed by the OSA) Senior Level 5 League, Youth Level 1 League, Youth Level 2 League, Youth Level 3 League, Youth Level 4 League, and (if governed by the OSA) Youth Level 5 League hosting a tournament do not require District Association approval but will require the approval of The OSA. | |||||
| 5.4 | The TAF must be completed and returned to the District Association, or in the case of a Senior Level 1 League, Senior Level 2 League, Senior Level 3 League, Senior Level 4 League, and (if governed by the OSA) Senior Level 5 League, Youth Level 1 League, Youth Level 2 League, Youth Level 3 League, Youth Level 4 League, and (if governed by the OSA) Youth Level 5 League, to The OSA, no later than: | |||||

| 5.5 | The Tournament Host shall indicate on the TAF only one Tournament Classification and will indicate one or more Age Classifications. | |||||
| 5.6 | The Tournament Host for an Inter-National Class Tournament shall pay a "Tournament Host Fee", and submit its tournament rules to The Ontario Soccer Association for approval. The Ontario Soccer Association shall pay a fee, and submit such rules to the C.S.A. for its approval. | |||||
| 5.7 | The Tournament Host for a North American Class Tournament shall pay a "Tournament Host Fee", and submit its tournament rules to The Ontario Soccer Association for approval, which shall forward such rules to the C.S.A. for its approval. | |||||
| 5.8 | The Tournament Host for an Inter-Provincial shall pay a "Tournament Host Fee". It shall also submit its tournament rules to The Ontario Soccer Association for approval, otherwise the tournament will be governed by The Ontario Soccer Association's tournament rules. | |||||
| 5.9 | The Tournament Host for an Inter-District Tournament shall submit its tournament rules to the District Association(s) required to approve the tournament, otherwise the tournament will be governed by The OSA's tournament rules. | |||||
| The Tournament Host must indicate in writing on the TAF that it will comply with all of the O.S.A. Rules, Policies, and Procedures governing tournaments. | ||||||
| 5.10 | ||||||
| 5.11 | Failure to comply with the terms of Section 5.0 will result in the tournament application not being approved by the appropriate governing organization(s) in accordance with Policy 5.3.1 above. | |||||
